It is helpful, but not necessary, to eat a cleansing diet with fresh, organic fruits and vegetables and herbal cleansing teas several weeks prior to the bath. Also, you can boost your immune system with ‘green foods’ such as Chlorella (some chlorellas have mercury in them so be careful), spirulina, blue-green algae, or micro clusters. It is very helpful to get one’s pH to a normal range of 7.0 to 7.4 as studies show the “dumping process” of toxins releasing from the body is greater, quicker, and more efficient when at the normal level. So if one wants to “speed up” the process of releasing toxins, keep the pH at 7.0 to 7.4 which is considered normal levels.
